From New Brunswick Train Station to Campus
- The New Brunswick Train Station is located at the corner of Albany Street and Easton Avenue across from the Rutgers Bookstore.
- For Zimmerli Art Museum and Voorhees Hall,
you are only a couple of blocks away, so it is probably best
just to walk:
- Proceed up Easton Avenue (short hill) and
turn right on Somerset Street.
- Proceed for half a block and turn left onto College Avenue.
- Proceed one short block and turn right onto Hamilton Street.
- Zimmerli Art Museum and Voorhees Hall are on your left
towards the end of the block.
- For Brower Commons and Stonier Hall:
- Cab service is available from the train station.
If the driver does not recognize Stonier Hall, ask for
Brower Commons (or, failing that, for the Student Center).
- You can also take a campus bus (routes "EE","F", or "L") to the
Rutgers Student Center/Brower Commons Stop (two stops).
However, the campus buses may not run very often during our
workshop, as classes are not in session.
- Or you may prefer to walk, as it is only about 6 blocks.
Follow the directions above, but do not turn down Hamilton
Street; instead continue along College Avenue for about four
more blocks. Stonier Hall and Brower Commons are on the right
side across from the Student Center.
